BRO Library Installers and Other Private Downloads

BRO Library Installers and other important software downloads are made available to BRO Software customers with current Software Maintenance Agreements. The BRO Library Installer adds additional value for customers who rely on BRO's scatter models, source models, and other library items to get started quickly and complete optical design tasks with accuracy they can depend on.

To access BRO Library Installers and other private software downloads, you will need login information for BRO's Private Software Downloads area. If you have received an official BRO email inviting you to download a BRO Library Installer, or other password-protected software download, please refer to the email for login and installation instructions.

If you have a Current Software Maintenance Agreement and have not received communications from BRO regarding private software downloads, please contact BRO Technical Customer Service to gain access to BRO's Private Software Downloads area. If you would like to renew your Software Maintenance Agreement to gain access to all software downloads, please contact BRO Software Sales.

ASAP 2009 V2R2 for Windows 2000 / XP

BRO is pleased to announce Version 2, Release 2 (V2R2) of ASAP 2009 for Windows 2000 / XP. Customers must have a current Maintenance Agreement and an existing hardware key to use these files.

To download ASAP 2009 V2R2, click the Install_ASAP2009_V2R2.exe link below. BRO recommends that you download the file to a newly created, temporary subdirectory. When the download is complete, browse to the file on your disk, and double click the file name to begin automatic installation.

Important Note: the default install directory will be different from your previous version of ASAP. This allows you to run the old version as before or both at the same time if desired (using different working folders). You may uninstall the older version of ASAP at your convenience. If you would like to install this version in the same folder as a previous version, be sure to uninstall the previous version first.

This is not a demo version of ASAP, your hardware key is required to install this file, as well as an installation password that has been sent to ASAP Maintenance customers. If you do not know your password, please contact Technical Customer Service at 1-800-882-5085 (+1-520-721-0500 outside USA/Canada) or email support@breault.com.

ASAP 2009 V1R1 Service Pack 1

After releasing ASAP 2009 V1R1, BRO discovered that controls for the BRO Digitizer were not correctly displaying in some operating systems. Service Pack 1 for ASAP 2009 V1R1 corrects this. Please install the ASAP 2009 V1R1 release first and then apply Service Pack 1, using the same password required for the ASAP 2009 V1R1 release installation. After installing Service Pack 1, the BRO Digitizer controls will be accessible.

ASAP 2006 V2R1 Service Pack 1

After releasing ASAP 2006 V2R1, BRO discovered that the Path eXplorer™ menu was omitted from the Analysis menu and toolbar. Service Pack 1 for ASAP 2006 V2R1 corrects this. Please install the ASAP 2006 V2R1 update first and then apply Service Pack 1. After installing Service Pack 1, the Path eXplorer menu is restored, and the toolbar can be customized in the usual way to add the Path eXplorer button.
