Source Wizard for BRO Light Source Library
Article Type: Documentation

Abstract
The Advanced Systems Analysis Program (ASAPĀ®) from Breault Research Organization (BRO) includes the BRO Light Source Library Source Wizard, which facilitates the following key functions:
- Constructing raysets for any listed device in either monochromatic or multi-spectral format
- Generating multiple instances of source geometry for a selected device type
The extensive list of over 100 filament lamps developed for the automotive industry is augmented by an ever-growing number of arc lamps, CCFLs and LEDs from such manufacturers as Luxeon, Nichia, Hewlett-Packard and OSRAM. Sources are most often added to the library based upon specific customer requests. BRO encourages customer interaction and relies on customer feedback to continually improve the fidelity of the source models offered in the BRO Light Source Library.
Summary of changes
This revision reflects changes in the user interface in ASAP 2009 V2R1 to enhance ease of use. Source geometry setup for creating rays now references "single wavelength" and "multiple wavelengths" as the two formats. (Aug. 28, 2009)
